Update on the Super Pigs

You never see wild hogs where there's real winters.

Saskatchewan doesn't have real winters?

You never see wild hogs where there's real winters.

You are wrong, the most adaptable animal on the planet, they are the zebra mussel of the 4 legged critter world.

Also, you think you want them right up to the point you actually get them and realize how destructive they are. They will push deer and other animals out of an area, they'll do the same with elk. They will literally eat anything, plant or animal, including each other.

Also, you will have them before you realize that you have a problem, because when you see the signs, they are already established in the area.

Well it been the same since I was out of high school. Be very tough to have them here. Just the fact Michigan is mostly small tracts of land and they are almost all hunted. We've been told since the 90's we would have a pig problem it's just never happened. In fact it's very rare I think we had less than 10 total sighting last year. And how many were just domestics pigs that were out

Just as a thought experiment. Would you think it would be that bad? It would allow sportsman to get in the field much more than the several weeks a year. Yes they cause damage sure but so do deer.
