Unit 22 north

Well, I finally got it after seven years of putting in. An early riffle bull elk tag in Arizona. I am very excited about this hunt. I do and I don't know the area. Never hunted elk but I have done allot of deer hunting just not in this unit. If anybody has any advice that they would like to give out it would be greatly appreciated.

and do some searching and reading. I don't know how much good info they will tell you right off the bat because a lot of them will be hunting the same unit.
I have deer hunted that unit a lot and I have seem cow elk up above the control road east of payson, south of the rim. That area is real thick with 6 to 7 foot tall brush. Do you live in Az?
