Surgeon short action with two bolts, standard .308 and magnum. Both have Remington style extractors.

Manners T2a carbon and M5 bottom metal. Stock has 2 extra holes from having a full lenght Arca rail. Currently has short pictanny rail.

Both action and stock have been used and have scratches coating wear. No major issue's and ready for more use.

New SS Rock Creek 6mm blank 7.5 twist. HV/MTU contour.

Im interested in this. Im not familiar with surgeon actions. Is this the 591? Is it coated? How would you compare this to a lone peak or an impact?

Yes it is a 591. Takes/fits Rem700 clone triggers, stocks etc.
It's cerakoted. I don't want to say the Impact copied Surgeon but it is a very similar action.
My opinion is a Lone Peak would be considered the smoother of the three. But it would all be up to the owner's. Kinda like Ford, Chevy, Dodge debate.

Ok. What arca can be run on this stock? And how does the cert for the chamber job work?

The arca rails have pretty long slots, so you could get a generic one and or something like a Area419 and Foundation ones. Just need some pan head screws to attach.
Just send the action/barrel and cert to the Gunsmith and or buy a barrel if you want some other caliber. Possibly need to pay for muzzle threads if you want them, i don't know if that's included.
