Underground Skunkworks Infidel .260

I know this is generally not the type of rifle sold here but I thought I'd give it a try.

This is an Underground Skunkworks infidel chambered in .260 and built by Mike Bush before Tim and Colton joined the team. It weighs 14.2 lbs and has a 22 inch barrel.


I purchased the rifle from A longtime SnipersHide member in late 2013 then almost immediately moved to a state with few LR opportunities. That coupled with not being set-up for .260 had the rifle sitting in a safe for the last 6 years. Upon speaking with Rthur we believe the rifle has about 12-1400 rounds but there are no log books so I can't guarantee that count. My notes show that with the 130 VLD it was shooting 3/8 with an ES of 13 and SD of 5 at 2990-3000 across an Oehler.

Pretty cool rifle....I worked for the Skunkworks that designed airplanes, be cool to have but out of my price range .

Coincidentally, it was a trademark issue with Lockheed that prompted the name change from Underground Skunkworks to Black Ops Precision.
