I got my PRC recently and man is it a shooter! Travis Stevens does some seriously immaculate work. The fit and finish is basically flawless. His communication during the build and completion time was amazing also.

Scrubbed the barrel when I got it. Fired 15 round of Berger's. Scrubbed the barrel again. Then this was the first 3 shot group with 124 hammers at 100 yards. And then the next group at 500 yards.

Great looking rifle. I had a similar one built 5 years ago that has been the most accurate rifle I've own. What barrel length did you go with and what velocities are you getting. It took my Proof Sendero 254 rounds to hit its speed up. I gained about 50fps once it hit.

Nice!! Mine is a 20" barrel. Right now I'm at 3100fps with 59gr. of N560. Not hitting pressure. But this charge in my last rifle was shooting 3200+.
Outstanding aesthetics and function! May I ask what components went into it?
Thanks dude!!

Those are great results. I need to try some of the slightly faster powders some day. Maybe they will eventually be available. The efficiency of this short fat case is pretty amazing. I have tried some of the slower powders (H1000, IMR7977, IMR8133) as its what I had on hand from loading my old 7mm LRMs. I have a lb. of RL26 but didn't want to develop a load then not be able to buy any more. I call the 6.5 PRC "Same Zoom Less Boom" when comparing it to my 7mm LRMs. With the 156 EOL I basically match my 7mm LRMs running 180 VLDs at 1000 yards all out of 26in barrels. With 58.2gr of H1000+156 versus 69.5gr H1000+180 VLD basically the same velocity and energy at 1000 yards according to Shooter with a lot less recoil. I think people will be finding the same thing with the new 7mm PRC. From the what I've seen its going to be pretty efficient.

Nice looking rifle. I have never seen one with white in the stock that I liked but I like that one. Also never thought about weighing my rifle with a fish scale but I will have to try that tonight. 👍
