Trying to get over 3000 fps for 300 WM and 180 grain Accubond

You should be able to find a starting load for RL 19 using Speer load data. Another good powder to try would be Accurate Magpro, have seen it on the shelf at a couple different stores. Not the most temp stable powder, but has worked well for me in the 300WM and 300 WSM.

All good points fellas, some windier than others, but all good. A few points:
1. I would NEVER sacrifice accuracy for speed
2. AS OF NOW, and the graces of a muzzle brake, recoil isnt an issue
3. I am currently shooting .31" (3 shot) groups at 100 and 1.13" groups at 200 and 300…at 2932 fps
I was hoping to squeeze a little more speed out of my 300 WM to see if a little playing around could do it. But AGAIN, I was hoping to get a bit more speed with the same, or better, accuracy. If my groups blow up due to added speed, I will stick with where I am at and go with it. I appreciate everyones opinions, perspectives and experiences. Thanks.

I like vithtavuori powders. My go to for speed. You won't get enough n570 or even n565 in a wm case to get 3000fps. I couldn't even get that in my wby case. If I remember right it wouldn't get but 2850 with n565 compressed. N560 or retumbo is what I would try. I settled on retumbo for my 300 wby and 180s. It's running 3140fps.
I'm like you. I want speed if it will shoot. If it doesn't I'll back it off or find it a new home. I wouldn't go with any alliant powder unless you have a stock pile of it.

What would a MIN-MAX load of RL-26 be?
I never read all the post but in my 300 Win with the 175 Barnes LRX with a max load of RL-26 (76.5 grs in my rifle) in a Rem case lit with a CCI 250 I get 3225 ft/sec. I've use many powders in my 300 Win and none can do what RL-26 does. The problem is to locate some. JME
