They had a sale on the 700 triggers with the Remington style bottom bolt release this past couple of weeks. I have read about it and I have performed the factory Remington style release delete, but I just never liked how much the pin could move side to side in the body.

I measured everything, the pin is .100" diameter and the bolt release was .030" thick. I stopped by the hardware store and sure enough they have the correct size stainless washers to keep the pin in the correct location as designed.

This was OCD, I haven't had an issue with a TT trigger, even those I have performed the delete on. I will be pulling several triggers out and adding the small washer under the c-clip. A gallon ziploc will contain the c-clip if it does get away from you.

The washer is .220" OD, .118" ID and .032" thick.
