Trigger question

Opinions needed is a 2.5 to 3 pound trigger to lite for a hunting rifle. I'm on the verge of getting the timney spring kit for my a bolt but just don't know if it will to lite.

I pretty much draw the line at 2.5 lbs for a hunting rifle and that's only for my rifles that are heavy and I hunt prone with. For stalk hunting, climbing into ladder stands, straddling barbed wire fences etc., I up the limit to 3.5 lbs.

2-2 1/2# is my minimum. You'll need a lot of repetition in firing the new trigger pull so you're very used to it.
