Trade advice?

I have an unfired 700 police .308. A local gentleman has an unfired xcr .300wm. I will be using this rifle to shoot long range primarily. I have a 5r 308 that is my go to target rifle. The 700 police has the 40 x trigger on it. Do y'all think that this is a good trade or should I keep my 700p?

I think the important thing is if you think it's a good deal.

Me personally, you already have a really nice .308 and I would say the xcr is on par as far as value/quality is concerned. So you would only be increasing your capabilities by getting a nice .300 win mag.

I would make sure it's in good condition though, and ask for some targets to see how accurate it is.
