Has anyone installed a muzzle brake on their T3 and if so, what size did you buy?

many do 1/2 or 9/16 if they don't want to have an adapter made. Some smiths like shaen and kampfeld will make a permanent adapter with a shoulder that is bonded in place with 5/8 threads.
I had a lite cut down to 16.25" where if I remember right it was .673 and my smith cut 5/8 threads and then rocksett a griffin taper mount brake with a custom collar he made to add shoulder diameter between them. Weird, but works.
I think 9/16 is the easy button

My gunsmith threaded my 6.5 Tikka T3X Lite with 1/2-28 thread. I then installed a self timing Fat Bastard brake works really well. I also use the 1/2-28 CB flash hider when using my Thunderbeast suppressor. Flash hider and suppressor work so well that I did the same with my T3X Lite 22-250.
