I bought a barreled action for a donor action. My gunsmith was able to remove the factory barrel without drama or damage. 308W, 22" sporter, measures .635" at the muzzle. It is 1"16 threads. No idea how many rounds thru it but the barreled action looked brand new. I would guess less than 50.
