TIKKA Super Varmint

Buzz don't know if this helps or not.
Found one on another board used, T3 S-Var 24" 1:8 twist.
Tikka smooth action with factory 1.25lb SS trigger.
Replaced the bolt shroud, added a Mtn Tactical trigger spring, oversized bolt and had it threaded.
Shoots sub .5 moa with 60 Vmax.
Apparently they are not easy to find but was able to snag a T3X Tactical 20" that is also a keeper.

Thanks Sea. I may be looking for an accurate OTC .223. Don't want to spend another $5,000 on a custom. Hows the T3X Tactical shoot?

Haven't worked up a load for the Tactical and probably will not need to as it shoots the Varmint load sub .5 moa.
Lost apx 200 fps with the 20" and had the metric threads rethreaded 1/2-28 without loosing any barrel length.
Did the MT trigger spring and set it at 1.25lbs also.

Nice rifles, 2 stage trigger kinda left me scratching my head.

Still have the 0 Moa rails 😕

Nice stocks, in all reality for a guy looking for a high end factory gun they darn near check all the boxes.

For anyone considering one of these, do indeed. Have had one for about four months, SV in 6.5 Creedmoor. Bought it for a range gun that's 1K yards capable for when/if my club expands its range from 500 to 1K. Also wanted to see if all the Tikka hype was legit. When I get the scope doped correctly and don't screw up the shot, it will easily stack rounds inside of 4 and 5 inch gongs at 500 yards. Typical Tikka solid build, trigger is great although I chose to lighten it some with a Yodave trigger spring. Adjustable comb is nice.
At 9 lbs rifle alone, it might be a bit heavy for long distance carrying, but maybe not. I think that it would be terrific for blind or stand hunting. Wholeheartedly recommend.
