I've got a lead on a Tikka 695, currently in a 25-06. I'm really wanting to put a 6.5creed together, but I'm not sure that this would make a good donor action. Can it be done?

The only thing you really have to do is have the rifle re-barreled. There is no action conversion involved. Bolt face is the same for both cartridges (.473). You will be running a short action cartridge in a long action, so there will be plenty of extra room in the mag.

Unless you are dead set on the Creedmoor, something in a 6.5-06 variant would be a better use of the space you will have in your action/magazine. But, the Creed will work just fine.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if I'd have feeding issues out of the long box. The next problem I have is finding a vertical grip, fiberglass stock..
