I have a Savage 6.5-284. I believe it is what they call a model 116. Can a body put a thumb hole stock on this type of gun? Does anybody make a left handed stock? Any help or advice on were to start on this project would sure be appreciated!!

the only thumb hole left handed stock I can find is from Russo rifle stock maker. He make it out of wood all different types. You can find him on the web.gun)

MPI offers left hand thumb hole stocks but I could not find if they were for Savage or not. You may have to shoot them an e-mail to find out. Here is a link to their page :
