Thread Cap

I have a muzzle brake on my CA 6.5 Long Range Mesa that I would like to remove. CA says they do not make a thread cap for their non carbon fiber barrels. Any suggestions on a non OEM or custom provider?

I would think any 5/24 cap should work but won't match your finish. I have to ask because I have the same rifle in 6.5PRC, why are you removing it?

Just makes the gun really loud, and a 6.5 Creedmoor is pretty low recoil. Will also fit in gun case a little easier.

Northland Shooters Supply has a very nice stainless steel knurled cap. If you need to match a finish and are willing to wait a couple extra days, they might even be able to have it ceracoted for you.
