Thinking about a American Defense Recon SL.

Thinking about purchasing one of these for my Ruger American Predator with a 20 MOA base already installed. I was wondering if anybody is using the SL which is thier lowest mount they make? Mainly concerned with scope height with the 20 Moa base. I can add a cheek piece but I really don't want to go real high..

I have used the mount and have a couple. they are ok, not great. mostly they are set up for ARs. I would try to use a better mount, or even a set of seekins rings. that will have a better heights for the bolt rifle than the mount. really no need for a QD on a bolt gun

Agree as well. I've got the AD Recon mount on my AR and use it to swap the optic from different uppers. For a bolt gun you'd be better served with a nice set of Seekins rins at the appropriate height.
