[FONT="]For years we have heard our customers complain about the fact that there were no affordable alternatives to the boring, black, plastic factory Tikka stock. And they were right to complain. Why does such an awesome, accurate rifle have to be ugly? [/FONT]

[FONT="]Tikka Performance Center is now producing, through our manufacturing division Mountain Tactical Inc., a line of stocks that you will make your favorite Tikka rifle beautiful, comfortable and accurate. We are starting out with three different styles, American Hunter, Thumbhole Sporter, and Thumbhole Tactical. [/FONT]

[FONT="]The American Hunter follows the lines of the classic American stocks.
[/FONT]
[FONT="]This design has been proven over the years to give the shooter a comfortable hold, light weight, and traditional good looks. [/FONT]
[FONT="]The stock is designed with a raised cheek piece for precise hold and sight alignment, and straight comb to minimize felt recoil. [/FONT]
[FONT="]The barrel channel is inlet for a sporter barrel contour. The stock comes standard with a hand-fit, 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and a Mountain Tactical Elite Recoil Lug fitted to the stock. [/FONT]
[FONT="]This makes this stock truly a drop-in fit, which can be installed in just a few minutes. Up front, we install a sling swivel stud, so you can use either a sling or a bipod. Most bipods today allow for a sling attachment to be made on the bipod mount. [/FONT]
[FONT="]The forend is checkered in a wrap-around checkering pattern with fleur-de-lis highlights for that truly top-shelf appearance. [/FONT]
[FONT="]Taking the style even further, the stock comes in American Walnut, with ebony caps at both the forend tip and grip cap. We've even scalloped the area around the bolt release to make removing the bolt easier. [/FONT]
