Hey guys some of you may already know but Jon is a great fellow!! I was looking a new piece of glass for a new close quaters stick and couldn't find it on his website. Gave him an email and he said he couldn't get it for me but made a recomendation for another brand in the same price range and after checking them out I decided to go with his recomendation!
He was very helpful in any way he could be and I just wanted to give him a little plug to possibly help any future customers make up their minds.

I don't know Jon personally, but he helped me to special order a badly back-ordered rifle scope early this year. He was very helpful, patience and knowledgeable about optics (I'm sure most of the people that frequent this board are knowledgeable about optics too).

Well, guess what - when the scope arrived, he charged me $40 less than what he originally quoted (which was already among the lowest I could find), and he said he wanted to pass along the cost saving from the dealer/manufacturer! Thanks, Jon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi, Jon:

It was a pleasant surprise that you were able to identify a sales concluded months ago! I absolutely love that Zeiss scope, but I am yet to install the Nikon on my 270. I had been busy chasing wild pigs in Malaysia for most of August, and didn't return until a couple of weeks ago.

The Zeiss is sitting on my Tikka T3 SS, getting ready for the upcoming hunting season. I hope to 'see' a NV mule deer in October, and a cow elk in December through this scope! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My wife teases me about my memory. She can not believe that I can remember customers and what they bought over a year ago. Your right the scope I picked up from Jon is 35 plus dollars cheaper than anywhere else I looked!

Whenever someone asks me where to buy optics I suggest Jon at the Optics Zone - he has treated each guy fairly and they have been completely happy with their purchases. Not much more you can ask for than that. Nice to have someone you can recommend because of his prices and his honesty.

We have some great gunsmiths on this board and a first-class optics supplier - life is good!
