Good morning everyone!

Sorry for the wrong pre fix, I had to pick one.

What are your thoughts on the election and the availability of reloading components. Does it in any way control the availability of powder and primers etc. I remember the days of going into stores and seeing thousands of primers and dozens of pounds of powder on the shelves and it wasn't that long ago. I remember thinking, (I don't need to stock up on that stuff. I'll come back and get it as I need it)… I could kick my own butt for that!

Been collecting since 13. Actually have an 8lb of IMR4831 that I had tried to sell locally about 7 years ago and now glad no one took me up on it. Back then was willing to let it go for $150.

Since the Clinton years I've tried to stock up on rimfire ammo, powder, and primers just like I invested in the money market. If prices are high I buy a little, when they are low I buy a lot, but I always buy something. When the shortage of large primers hit at the end of Trumps 1st term, I was sitting on a gold mine of Large and Magnum primers. I took bricks of primers to the gunshows and traded them for what I needed but could not afford. I heard they were coming after our AR15s so I traded for 30 ar15 and 15 AR10 80% lowers and a couple of builders kits.

When Trump ends the Ukraine war, we're going to see supplies come back up and hopefully prices will come down some. I can't say "back to normal" because normal has been on a sliding scale the last 10 years.

JMO that we are in a Pre War state, Global conflict seems inevitable. Russia, China, Saudia Arabia want the dollar to collapse and have taken steps to that end ending the Petro Dollar. Our country's debt demands that our enemies fund our daily spending habits in our govm't.

It is a good time to be Prayed Up.

I think if things don't go completely insane with some kind of new, world scale conflict (and I'm not saying I envision that happening), things should start coming back to normal quickly in the reloading world.

Could be completely off. Lol. But that's my feeling

Typically, if the USA isn't in a war or funding some country that is in a war, components are easier to get. As an example, from what I've been told, most of Alliants powder is going to the war in Ukraine...
