The 7mm RSAUM is an excellent cartridge. It's overlooked nowadays, and should be much more popular than it is.
My 7 RSAUM is built on a Remington XP-100 with a Bartlein 5R 17.5" barrel, 1:9" twist. I would choose a slightly faster twist if 180-195 grain bullets were on the menu. I planned to only shoot 162-168 grain bullets however, due in part to my expected velocity window with the 17.5" barrel.
I get 2850 fps with Berger 168 VLDH's, Hornady 166 A-Tips and Hornady 162 ELDX's using H1000. Accuracy is 1/2 MOA, and I've shot out to 1,100 yards with my XP-100 on steel.
With your 22" barrel you will get at least 25 fps per inch increase of barrel length, and then some more using RL26.
