Taper Mount for Dead Air Mask?

I have a CZ 17 hmr and a CZ 17 Hornet. I use a dead air mask with direct mount for both of these rifles.

I want to get a Rearden mini taper mount for both of these rifles. They offer it in a 1/2 - 28 pitch thread.

Will this work with my dead air mask, and/or do I need a hub adapter for the mask suppressor to work with this mount?

It also comes in a square shoulder and a 25° taper. Which one would you recommend?

What's so hard about direct thread?

It's not hard, I do notice the suppressor walks a little and I need to hand tighten after shooting a bit .

I was shooting my 17 Hornet yesterday for groups and after 5 rounds noticed it was a tad loose. Not much but enough where I had to re tighten with my hand.

Maybe I need to really hand tighten from the beginning.

Do you 'snap' them on? Snug up the can, loosen it up as much as your wrist will allow, and snap it on. Hard. Works better than just snugging them up...
