I'm currently looking for a new Tangent Theta model TT315LRH 3-15x50mm Rifle Telescope with MoA recital. If anyone has a lead to where one can be obtained it would be deeply appreciated. I have contacted most of the distributers that sell them, but they all have a very long lead time.

but they all have a very long lead time.
That's primarily because no one shoots MOA anymore. Those that invest in a scope of this pedigree and price, generally want their money protected a little bit. The ratio of mil to moa scopes we sell is probably 300:1... maybe more. It's getting more tilted toward mil every year.

We only get MOA Tangent Thetas on a special order basis with money in hand. I'm very sad when I see people get an MOA, because I know they will likely lose nearly 50% on resale. That's not trivial when talking about a $4,000 optic.

We have mil 315m's in stock, and can special order an MOA for you... but I would strongly encourage you to reconsider, as I've seen this play out a number of times. If you need any help with the mil system, we can do a phone call, video call, or in-person if you have the opportunity. If you buy a scope, I'll train you how to use it at no charge.

If you decide you'd like to stick with MOA... I'll keep my ears open for you. There aren't many MOA TT's out there, and you could be waiting a very long time.

God Bless!

You also might not like the reticle in the TT hunter. It was too thick for me and I got rid of it. Had I purchased the M version, I might still have it.

A while back I picked up a Premier Light Tactical 315 with gen 2 mildot reticle and MOA turrets. Thought I could always send it back to Premier/TT to change turret to mils. BIG mistake...

OP if you're dead set on a MOA turret, I'd make you a good deal on this one. It's sitting in my gun room doing nobody any good....

Get the optic you want .. dont get talked into or out of anything.. you want an MOA TT .... get a fricken MOA TT even if you have to order it .. its your money you shouldn't be told how to spend it!!!

you want a Frickin Diesel pickup ...... buy the **** thing!!!

Talk to a company that wants to help you get the exact optic you want, not talk you into something that you dont want!

I think the advice you are getting is sincere and accurate. I also think you should weigh your options and buy the product you feel most comfortable using. I happen to own a TT 315 Marksman in MOA/MOA and I love it. The reticle on my TT is not my favorite for fine precision target shooting but it is great for hunting which is what I use this scope for. The resale value may be a few hundred less because there is less demand for the MOA model but I don't really care as I bought it to use not to sell.

As Elk Hunter 338 said, "Get the optic you want". Mil scopes are great but so are MOA.

I have talked with Jake. He has provided me with information, dimensions and even photos to help me with my choice. Unfortunately, he currently doesn't have any MoA in stock. Great guy.
