Newer Savages have the same contour in front as they do in the rear so the front and rear base will interchange. These have one ring extended which is often needed on the long action savages in order to get a scope far enough rearward. Fits Ruger American, Thompson Center TC Venture, Stiller predator, Savage round rear top accutrigger models & Axis . They were mounted on a rifle and taken directly back off the same day.
