Synthetic Stock Coatings

I wanted to camo paint a rifle (synthetic stock along with the rest of it) with Cerakote. Problem is that Bell and Carlson now recommends not letting their stocks get above 125 degrees F and that only for very short periods. According to the Cerakote website, you need at least 150 deg. for prepping the parts to be coated even with the "low temp".C- series. Also wanted to use H-series Cerakote, since two of the colors I wanted (BAE Green and Federal Standard Gray) aren't available in the C-series. Minimum cure temp. for H-series is 150 deg. All of the heat steps take a couple of hours. You can use DuraCoat for the stock, but to match the Cerakote colors on the metal parts you would have to mix existing DuraCoat colors which sounds expensive and like a good way to not end up with what you want. Any input?

I would use the Cerakote air dry on the stock
