Like new condition. Amazing glass and build quality. SLC's are considered by many to be the best hunting binocular ever made. Do some research and you will find some good reasons to choose the SLC over the more expensive EL.

• Better light transmission and color contrast in low light. Brighter in the twilight hours.
• Built-in threaded socket to accept standard 1/4"-20 tripod adapters. No need to send your binos out and pay extra for installing a special tripod mounting stud.
• No globe or "rolling ball" effect caused by field flatteners while panning.
• EL's are sharper at the edges, but SLC's give a more 3 dimensional image and better depth perception without the artificially flattened FOV.
• Slightly smaller and lighter.
• Cost.
