For sale is a modified Steyr Pro Hunter Mountain Rifle in .308.
The barrel has been professionaly cut, threaded Pinned & soldered AAC 51t flash hider/suppressor mount. The total barrel length is just at 16.5" making this a very compact package. This is an excellent hunting or scout rifle especially when paired with a suppressor. There is just over $1,000.00 in this package.
The NFA branch of the ATF requires all rifle barrels to to at least 16" or be registered/taxed as a Short Barrel Rifle. This has the muzzle device permently attached as required and conforms to all laws.
The AAC 51t mount accepts all Advanced Armament Corp 51t suppressors and some Silencerco suppressors now make compatible suppressors.
I haven't had time to develop hand loads for this but accuracy from factory 168s was just over MOA. This would be an ideal hunting rifle or scout rifle
