Steyr Elite 7mm-08

Hi, does anyone own a Steyr Elite in 7mm-08 and would be able to confirm the twist rate? The details I can find state a 1:12 twist which seems slow/odd considering the Scout is 1:8.6.

1:8.6" is probably right (Steyr Mannlicher US:*Rate of Twist Information)

Try measuring yourself ...

I Should have been a bit clearer,
I used to own an Elite in 308 (pictured) however I sold it. I am now looking to buy another (loved the features of the Elite) but already own a great Thompson Center 308 so was interested in the Elite in 7mm-08. However I would like to stabilise 162gr-175gr projectiles which I believe need a 1:9 twist or faster. I emailed Steyr however the reply I got was a bit ambiguous. Was hoping someone might own one that can confirm the twist rate.
