stevens model 200 rebarrel

i would like to rebarrel my stevens model 200 in 300win. mag.I want to put on a heavier barrel.Who makes replacement barrels and what contour? I would like a contour like rem. sendaros. What contour is that ? I'm thinking 26 inch barrel.Thanks in advance for the info.

you can buy NIB never fired factory barrels from Jim Briggs. Otherwise you can get a Shilen chambered and threaded with the contour u want. There are other barrel makers who make Drop-In barrels for Savages/Stevens.

check out fred over a sharp shooter supply he is a savage gun smith and a great guy to work with. i have had him make me four barrels and every one shoot under 1/2moa 30-06,308,300wsm,243 his breaks work great as well.

The sendero taper is about the same as a 5.5 contour.

As for barrels Lilja also makes a very good one.

But any barrel should be installed by a smith.
