Spotting scope Recommendations

thoughts? any other recommendations? thanks all

You will need more experience with scopes, and time to figure out your goals for your purchase.

Consider renting a scope for a bit to see what size/weight and zoom meets your needs.

And take your LRF to a local store like Cabela's or Sportsman's and try some of their scopes outdoors.

Once you get some experience, you'll have a better idea of what questions to ask.

That is what a tripod is for.
How is the glass? I have been none too impressed with Sig riflescopes.
I'm not really sure, I looked through them for about 10 minutes and I don't have an expensive spotting scope to compare it to. But like the guy in the video said with them you don't need to carry the extra gear.
