I went and did it! You guys have always said not to but I went and did it anyway!
I shot the donor rifle. Guess what! It shot too good to tear apart (go figure). There went that project. I bought a Rem TI 30-06 to make up for it.
This barreled action is for sale. No J lock, shoots too good, minor safe marks.
