All of the handloading supply companies show no stock for Speer bullets. Is Speer still in business? I have always loved their products.

Speer (among many others) is owned by Vista outdoor, a publicly traded company. Vista's first qtr. they had $125 million profit, up 32% over prior year qtr. They can't make enough product. Companies turning a profit and selling high demand products usually don't close down. ALL firearm related products are hard to find.

IMO they have always been one of those manufacturers that were never real prominent in the SGS at least in my area. Not that they don't make quality products, just rarely seen in the stores. Online is always different.

Supply and demand...Current events.
What he said. Very little of anything is in stock right now. Speer is about the cheapest (and good bullets), so odds are they were bought up first. Midway stays outbof stock on most everything, so no big surprise there. I couldn't even find decent 444 Marlin ammo, of all things. Found it now, but took me a couple of weeks visiting Ammoseek.com on a daily.
