I've got a cousin that has a house in Greenwood and works in Georgia. Is there any where near there to hunt wild bacon?

Might be a fun way to try my 300 before deer season.

I am from pretty close to u. I have not hunted SC in a few years as I am in NM right now and really can't wait to head back home. I got a buddy that hunts a good bit around Sumter as their is a lot of state land around and he has killed a few pigs up that way. @Holycity73 might can help u out also!

I'd say the best bet would be in edgefield/Aiken area. Not too terribly far from there. Lots of farms and the pigs have made it known that they don't mind the cold up there.

Would the farmers be obliging to let people rid them of over abundance of bacon.

We got a lot of land in SC and we have never noticed hog issues. I know people around us only see pigs on river bottoms and what not. However I know over the last few years yotes have become a real problem. Again not sure up around Aiken if this is same situation.

I'm going to attempt to make a long range thumper out of my skinny barrel Ruger. Seems like they had 130gr Ballistic tips that would be good on Coyotes.
