Took a welcome break from 'Rat Central to take a couple of clients out for some LR rockchuck shooting. They took one confirmed at 1024 yards, one at 1066 yards and one at 1074. A couple of others fell in the "No Body, No Count" category. They were shooting a 6.5X.284 with 140 grain Bergers and a 7mm WSM shooting 168 Bergers. Both rifles were 'smithed by Chris Mathews and both used Nightforce 5.5-22X scopes (from No off Season, of course.)
