Anyone have some solid copper .224 bullets floating around that they are willing to part with? I'm conducting some… experiments involving a .300 RUM and a .30 cal sabot, and need a bullet that won't disintegrate at ridiculous rotational velocity. I'll buy some Lehigh defense copper 38gr HP's if no one has a half box of something laying around, but I figured I'd check here first.

Couple options here.

I'm thinking at that velocity I'll have meting plastic tips and a frag bullet soon after. I had been considering 40gr vmax but was trying to avoid them for that reason. I don't have any experience running them that hot though so I'm guessing there

I didn't think about hammers!that's great to know they'll hold up to that. Thank you!

A very kind member has offered to send me a test sampling of some hammer bullets, so for the moment I think my need is fulfilled. Thanks for the help!
