I'm putting up for sale my Custom Mauser 98 FN D'armes de Guerre Herstal-Belgique in a High-Tech Stock by Mark Banser in 35 Whelen. Weights 8.625 lbs. Comes with the original Wood Stock although that one has the military non-opening bottom metal.
Belgian FN Mauser 98 Action

Custom made Wood Stock w/ Ebony tip. Tung oil finished.
Custom tuned trigger-super clean 2.5 lbs. break, 2 rear position wing safety
24" 6 Groove Barrel TI Finish, 13 1/2" LOP Krick Special (Dillweed) color, (2) swivel studs.
Sunny Hill Bottom Metal
Swarovski PH 1.5-6x42 30 MM Scope with a 7A reticle in Burris rings.
Redding Deluxe 3 Die set
(2) Unopened #50 Remington 35 Whelen Brass
#53 New Unfired Remington 35 Whelen Brass
#30 3X Fired Remington Brass
#20 4X Fired Remington Brass
#49 225 gr. TSX's in New Brass + (1) 1X piece of Brass
#20 250 gr. Swift A Frames in 1X Fired Brass
#20 250 gr. Kodiak Bullets in New Brass
#30 Speer Grand Slam 250 gr. Bullets
I believe I have (2) Boxes of the Barnes 225 Gr. TSX's on hand, but I'll have to find them?
I have approximately 231 rounds fired through the gun, it was bought used but in As New Condition therefore I do not know the barrel, trigger or safety manufacture. I will say the barrel cleans up super fast and the trigger is excellent and have the utmost faith in the working condition of this firearm, and it has been throughly tested for function by me numerous times in the field and at the bench with zero failures or safety issues.
$2,800.00 Shipped to your FFL dealer. USPS Money Orders Only.
As most of you know everything I own shoots very well, this gun is no exception. It only has a little wear around the out edge of the barrel of the TI coating, not into the metal. The Scope has a ding in the bell housing that is approximately 1/2" in length and is unaffected to the scope and kept it's zero even after it happened six or seven years ago from contacting a rock as I slipped stepping over a log while hunting Elk. I will send a H.D. Photo close up of those two flaws to anyone interested in buying the gun.
