I have for sale a semi custom Savage in 6.5x47 Lapua. The rifle has 86 rounds down the pipe. All parts were purchased new. Nothing wrong with it, just too many irons in the fire right now. The factory DBM and trigger guard where not cerakoted because I planned on swapping them with a different bottom metal. There is one small scuff in the cerakote forward of the receiver. This is shown in the last photo. I also have Lapua brass and Forster dies available for an additional cost.

Savage SS Varmint Action w/ Accutrigger
Custom Ground Oversized recoil lug and Trued Barrel Nut
Criterion SS 26" Varmint Contour
McMillan M40 Desert Camo stock pillar bedded
EGW Heavy Duty One Piece 20 MOA Picatinny Rail
Desert Sand Cerakote on Barrel, Receiver, Bolt, and Rail

Utah residents must have proof of residency and sign a bill of sale. Out of state residents will have the rifle shipped to an FFL and will pay $40 to help with shipping costs. I will ship the rifle in a plastic rifle case securely packed within another box; UPS insured.

Payment accepted: cash, USPS money order, or discreet PayPal plus 3%.

Please contact me with any questions. I am happy to send additional pictures. Thanks!

Nice looking rig, who did the work?

What kinda groups can you show for it, and with what bullets? Seem like a shooter, and a fair price I might add.

Thanks. The prefit Criterion came from Northland. I spun it on and headspaced it. I sprayed and baked it as well.

I have some groups that I can post tomorrow. Nothing super amazing, as I was focusing on shooting in and cleaning the barrel. I was shooting the 120 amax that I had laying around; just building rounds for break in and a little plinking. I didn't do any real load development as I haven't been able to track down the bullets and powder that I was planning on running in this rifle (did t want to scavenge too much reloading stuff from other projects).

Typing all this from my phone so pardon any errors.

Re: Savage 6.5x47 Lapua

I'm haven't been able to load multiple pics into one post from my phone. I apologize for adding single pics in multiple postings.

Anyway, here are a couple groups. Those are 1.5" stickers and 5 shot groups at 100 yds. FWIW, these shots were made during the first range day when I was breaking in the barrel and making adjustments to the accutrigger. No pics from the second afternoon I took it out as that was mostly shooting 8" steel at 250 and 350 yds; all shots where hits.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Please continue to ask any questions you might have.

This picture loaded sideways. The holes are actually on top of the sticker.

Bump for an awesome rig. Trying to scrape some funds up. U looking for any trades?

As far as trades go, the only things I might be interested in are the following:

Rem 700 SA Receivers
6.5 barrel blank, #3 contour; bartlein, krieger, brux, etc
Bushnell Elite Tactical 3.5-21x50
Leupold VX3 4.5-14x40

Re: Savage 6.5x47 Lapua

Do you have any interest in trading your rifle for a Remington 700 RS (Rynite Stock) in .243 Winchester with a Leupold Vari-X 3-9x33 Compact? The gun is in excellent condition and shoots 95 gr Berger VLDs excellently. The trigger has been worked and is light and crisp. I think Remington only made this rifle for a couple of years. It has a very rigid factory Rynite stock in a brown/black matte swirl pattern. The finish on the rifle is matte black from the factory. The scope is matte black as well. I sent the scope to Leupold and had them install a CDS elevation knob on the scope. I have not yet ordered a CDS dial with load data. The scope rests in Leupold low standard rings on Leupold 2 piece standard bases, both in matte. The scope has Butler Creek flip open lens covers. This is an excellent varmint rifle as it is fairly light and the 22" barrel lends to its compactness. Thanks for your time. Scott

I'm not interested. Thanks for the offer, though.
