I have a Remington 700 7mm STW. It has a Pac Nor barrel on it with a vais style muzzlebrake. The barrel has three flutes running down the length of the barrel. A Timney trigger has been installed and it feels like it has been adjusted to just under 2 pounds. It feels really light. The stock right now is a Remington SPS style stock and it will also come with a laminate stock that was bedded for the rifle. It seems to have a green and yellow tint to it. It looks really nice. It will also come with approximately 50 pieces of brass some are loaded with 139gr Hornady's. Also comes with a set of RCBS dies, a full length die, neck sizer die, and a micrometer seating die. Also comes with leupold bases and 1" rings. All you need is a scope and it is ready to go. For the total package I will take $700. I'm not specifically looking for any trades but make me an offer I can't turn down and the worst I can do is say no thanks. Thanks for looking, Ron

Re: Custom Rem 700 7mm STW

How many rounds down the barrel? what twist barrel? I would like to by this rifle. What kind of groups are you getting. Thanks for your time Joe

Re: Custom Rem 700 7mm STW

There are approximately 300-350 rounds down the barrel. I have only fired 5 shots since getting it. I have learned that muzzlebrakes on a hunting rifle are just not for me. Of the five shots, 2 were to get on paper. The other 3 were all very close to each other. I did not measure them but I would say right at an inch would be my guess. I was using a 3-9 power scope so I'm sure that some accuracy would come in being able to see the bullseye a little better. If I get a chance I will shoot it again and measure groups.

To my knowledge, the action has been trued.

The gun weighs 8.4 lbs and that is with the scope seen in the picture.

The barrel is 25.5 inches from the middle of the recoil lug to the end of the barrel without the muzzlebrake. With the muzzlebrake it is 26" long.

I'm pretty sure that answers everyones questions. I have been swamped by PM's. If I missed something or skipped over you, just PM me again or shoot me a reminder. Thanks, Ron
