smith & wesson 17-2 rear sight

Hey guys. Wondering if anyone could help me locate a rear sight for a 17-2 22lr I just found. The gun is in great shape but just doesnt have a rear sight.

By 17-2 I presume you mean a Model 17 2 screw topstrap. Midway most likely. I got a new front (partridge) sight blade for my 44 LB magnum there (vintage, as in 50 years old).

you can buy the rear sight new from S&W. You want to be sure to give them the serial number as I think there were two different versions.
