Savage small shank matte stainless X-Caliber 6 Creed barrel Savage Mag contour 18", threaded 5/8-24 at muzzle, 5 spiral flutes, 1:7 5R twist. 50 rounds down the tube, rifle just turned out heavier than I wanted so I'm sending this down the road. Build sheet shows a 1:8 twist but I called X-Caliber and had them change it to 1:7 after placing the order. Average speed for 20 rounds with Hornady Black ammunition was 2784 FPS and this was the only ammunition tried.
