I have a 26" matte black varmint contour, originally 223 from a model 12, it has been rechambered to 22 Creedmoor .110" freebore. Twist measures closer to 8.5, although savage considers it a 9 twist. It will shoot 75gr ELDMS at 223 velocity, I expect at Creedmoor speeds especially above sea level, it'll also shoot 80gr ELDMS.
