Sightron SVIII 5-40 owners

I'd love to hear from any owners here on your experience with it now that it's been out for a decent amount of time. I know the LRM reticle is exactly what I want and the 40x mag will be welcome. I have a buddy with an older Sightron who loves it and still contends it's one of his better optics in the safe. Just seeking out all the opinions I can muster please. Thanks

This is a dream scope.

▪ For such a huge top end magnification(!) it has a very respectable FoV of 24ft [23.7 at 5x].

▪ Even with a 10y parallax for the airgunners out there that also want to reach way out with the new generation of ultra-powerful airguns.

Thanks for chiming in glad to hear of another happy owner. July seems to be when they have their big sale so hoping I may stumble on one at that intro price they had last year. Watched a youtube vid from a guy in the UK who seems to be quite the glass maven and he said he was blown away at the quality and considering what he was comparing it against I took notice.
