Bought this scope about 1.5 years ago for a custom rifle I was building and didn't really pay attention to the weight, since the rifle is an ultralight, this scope is way too heavy for the rifle. It is a fantastic scope for long range with great optical quality. It has been used as a reference optic for developing loads and never carried for hunting.
