Should I swap my Zeiss Conquest for a Maven rifle scope?

If you're looking to go to a higher magnification scope I would look at the Zeiss V4 line in the 3-12 or 4-16. There is several deals on them out there right now. Sub 1k

No. I would consider swapping for a new V4...or go ahead with one of the new V8 North America's!

The "work horse" of the Zeiss line IMO is the V6 3-18 X50.

The Zeiss didn't pass RS drop test so that's probably why the OP wants to change it out. That said I doubt I'd get rid of it. I'd opt to get one of the scopes that passed. I'm getting more scopes that have passed the drop test for certain set ups. But if I drop a rifle or pistol it's still going to get checked for zero. And I regularly check zeros on all my firearms.

The drop test I saw with the Zeiss turned out it wasn't the scope, it was the rings. Zeiss has since updated the torque settings on their rings.

Yeah it was a higher grade scope. so I doubt the 3-9 would pass.

I think it was one of the tactical models. The turrets popped off upon impact.
