I have a model 7 7-08 with the kevlar stock. Kicked like a mule. I had it re barreled to 7br. I think i still have the factory barrel. Will look tomorrow.

Not true at all. Built a 7mm-08 for my 9 year old grandson. Recoil is acceptable. No trigger flinch. Shoots it very well. 150gr hand loads.
