Shortening a McMillan Game Scout stock

I've got a new Browning Hell's Canyon LR rifle. It comes with a McMillan Game Scout stock and a 13.75" LOP. I much prefer a 13.25" LOP which I have on all my other rifles. The soft recoil pad does not appear to have screw holes so I'll assume that it's glued on.

Can this stock be shortened?

send it to mcmillan. had one done, cost $70 and they wont screw it up.
