I've seen that but it also looks like you may have to machine the bolt or action to make it work?Unknown munitions makes one for over 3 for a sa. Best I know of.
Yes but the stock options are limited from what I can see.I assume you've looked at XM+ also, Cajun

That's not true. As stated in an earlier thread, Unknown munitions has one that allow loading out to 3.150".AICS for DBM and Wyatt's boxes for BDL are really the two only options for loading long in a true short action.
That being said, there is not a lot lost by going with a long action if you plan to run heavies. My 338 Sherman Mega is built on a long action (Tikka) and I use LA mags. Same for the 7PRC that I am building now.
Ok thanks. I'm trying to stay with something I can get a prefit for so that limits options as well. The Tikka long action I guess would be doable if I decide to go long. Just really trying to build a short 7 for suppressor use. If I went with a long action I would prob just do a prc. But something about the saum in a short action keeps speaking to me lol. I would just do a 7/08 but want just a little more thump out of a 20".That's not true. As stated in an earlier thread, Unknown munitions has one that allow loading out to 3.150".
Yes you may need to machine the load port and possibly notch the front of the feed ramp but that's just the limitation of a short action.
I do know that Pierce actions will accept the UM magazines with no modifications as will the BAT Vesper.
Another option is a Tikka action. It's a long action but is incredibly smooth.
You can get prefits for a BAT, not sure about Pierce.Ok thanks. I'm trying to stay with something I can get a prefit for so that limits options as well.
