I'm exploring the world of tripod shooting and had a noob question. I know some folks use a half-bowl and arca clamp setup or a ball head to shoot from, but does anyone shoot from a fluid head? I know fluid heads have much lower weight limits, but I'm was hoping there would be a way to use the same head for glassing and shooting. Is this possible with a fluid head or a dumb idea? If so, any recommendations for fluid heads that use arca and are solid enough for this?
