Shipping ?

I have quite a few dies , brass and bullets I'm thinking about selling.
Not a lot of good shipping options around my area
What's everyone's thoughts on usps flat rate?
Also some ammo to sell but nowhere close by that can ship it
Any ideas

LEGALLY, your not suppose to ship ammo USPS.
UPS and FedEx only

For the heavy stuff the flat rate boxes will save you money.

Yup Flat rate works well..... As a side note, don't forget about flat rate padded envelopes. About the same cost as small flat rate box, and they fit bullet boxes better......Just wrap the boxes and tape securely before putting in padded envelope!

to me USPS Priority Mail is the way to go... Boxes or Pak's are free and you have tracking. Insurance is available if value is over $50.00. Able to print labels at home and just drop it off at the post office or have it picked up. it's also very reliable. My 2 cents... DD62

I use flat rate Priority boxes all the time. Fast, efficient and provides tracking. Hard to beat that for small stuff. However, even their "large" Priority box is pretty small.

Went through this today. For the guys shipping ammo usps, how do you answer the first question they ask about whether your package contains anything such as....
ammunition.... listed under "prohibited items"? Asking for a friend...

I ship USPS flat rate for the majority of the small to smallish items.

I just shipped some bullets (not loaded ammo). By weight, USPS wanted over $50 to ship (non flat rate shipping, my box).

Made the $15 for the medium flat rate box seem super cheap. My shipping box fit inside the flat rate box.
