Turn key custom gun ready to be put to work!
The gun was built by Shawn Carlock at Defensive Edge in Idaho several years ago. Barrel is engraved "Defensive Edge" but not numbered. The only change I made was the stock. I had Gold Creek Rifles put the B&C medalist stock on it instead of the HS Precision that was on it. This gun is a serious shooter. Its a true 1/2" or better gun.
.300 RUM
700 action
heavy tapered fluted barrel
B&C Medalist tactical stock (bedded by Gold Creek Rifles- WA)
DE Break
DE recoil lug
HS mag box
Tured and Lapped action
tuned trigger
Nightforce base and rings
Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 FFP (new last fall)
weight is 12.5lbs
I have shot several different loads and found the 94 grains of Retumbo pushing a 190 Berger Hunting VLD is the best group. I have a binder with the groups and load data I have shot out of it, including chrony speeds.
Not pictured I can include:
about 100 rounds custom loaded rounds for the gun. (94 grains of retumbo, 190 VLD, 215 M, once fired brass)
sling
load data books
loose boxes of 190 grain berger bullets
new box of 210 grain berger bullets
partial boxes of other bullets
Nice Winchester 4 buckle metal hardcase
Asking $4100 for all of it
Would keep the scope and rings and sell the rest for $3500
Would consider partial trade on a newer Mathews Bow.
