I have for sale an excellent shooting 300WM built by Scout Supply. Built on a Stiller Tac 300 action Broughton barrel in standard Palma contour, threaded 3/4x24, Badger Ordnance Thruster brake Manners MCST w/mini chassis, PTG Obermyer trigger guard and Wyatt's extended stainless box mag. Trigger Tech Special set at 1.2 pounds. Atlas BT-17 4" rail. Mini chassis trigger guard and front 1" of barrel bedded in Marine Tex at GA Precision. Rifle weight as show is 11 pounds 1 ounce with bipod.
I bought this rifle from a member here as 2nd owner with 200 rounds through it and in a McRee chassis. I bought this for a big game hunting rifle so I ditched the McRee for the Manners and bottom metal. Wanting to run factory ammo I bought 5 boxes of Hornady Precision Hunter in 200gr ELDX. In what I would call very good results, this ammo produced groups .6" @ 100yds and would hold that to my max test range of 830yds. Round count is 330.
I have 2 loads for this rifle. 1 with 200gr ELDX and 1 with 230gr Berger. I have partial data for 212gr ELDX. Included will be 25 rounds loaded for next load test to this partial data.
Included with the rifle will be 1 set of RCBS dies, 1 set of Lee dies, 71pcs new Federal primed brass, 50pcs once fired Federal Brass, 20 rounds Hornady Precision Hunter ammo 200gr ELDX, 19pcs once fired Hornady brass and 25 rounds loaded with 212gr ELDX for next test, 50pcs of Hornady 212gr ELDX.
I have some other items available to the buyer that we can discuss. I will consider parting this out for someone who has a different take on the use for this rifle. Trades considered but only high end optics or actions. No AR platforms. Complete gun and listed accessories, (NOW $2750) $2975 shipped and insured.
